The View
today as i was flipping channels on my lunch hour, i happened to stop on channel 7, and almost turned off the tv because i am not a fan of the View.. however.. who should i see but JEFF!! and a few other guys from Good Vibrations. sadly, it was a rerun, but it made me smile (=D) to see him. and the camera operator showed him just as much if not more than the three "leads", so i guess everyone can see just how talented he is.

Ok way to be over dramatic but aside from weekly softball games for GV in the park our fave Bway Ball of Energy has been laying pretty low...but fear not:

He's apparently booked TWO, count them, ONE TWO new gigs for August at Dont Tell Mama's! Specific times and dates to be announced. Come one come all, August has never looked so good!

Sorry This took so long...
So here are the tacks to Jeff's CD

"Jeff Martin-march 20th '05 cb's 313 gallery"

Track 1 is Jeff introing...it's not listed but it's there
The following is exactly how he listed the tracks:

Yove run Me out
3 days in the sun
Holy cavaties Batman
My affairs 'R Fuckt
Yer Fav Homeless derelict
My director
No more sleeping angels
Shelter Rock

The quality is pretty good b/c it was recorded by CBGBs...deffinately worth the $6 to get it.

And Don't forget Jeff's gig is Monday at 7pm. I know its early but that's why everyone should be there to show there support.

Info on the Gig
Sorry it took so long to post....

Ok so this goes w/out saying but honestly I adore Jeff. He played some fun stuff…though I can never really tell if he writes this stuff meaning to be serious or not. He played, well at least this is what I can remember "Tease", "You've Run Me Out", "Ambydextrosity", "My Favorite Homeless Derelict", "Three Days in the Sun", "No More Sleeping Angels"(Formally "No more Porcelain Angels" boy changed the title on me lol), "My Director", "My Fucked Up Affairs","Shelter Rock","Out Clause" (I think that's the name of that song, it's the one w/ all the real estate terms, that he sang for the first time at the January gig) and "Holy Cavities Batman"...Ok now I can never truly tell if he's being serious or not about what he writes, b/c he performs it so seriously, however I am under the impression and really hope I'm right that when it comes to "Holy Cavities Batman", he's kidding. I really think he's only serious in the songs where he's talking about heartbreak, though I'm still debating the "First Hopeful Moment", but honestly I think he was just REALLY pissed when he wrote that.

There were lots of people there, a bunch of cast members and such. It was loads of fun I suggest ya'll come out next time. ;o)

Just a friendly reminder that SATURDAY March 19th there is a 50-50 chance that our fave surfer dude may go on as DAVE!!!

Good News...well sorta
On March 19th Brandon Wardell is calling out of Good Vibrations. I'm not sure if it's for the Matinee, the night show or both but he's schedualed to be out. So there is a possability that our ever energetic Jeff will be on as Dave that day, as both he and David Reiser understudy the role of Dave... there is a 50 - 50 chance that everyone's fave surfer guy will be on as a lead.

Hey. So I am new to the community, heck I am new to the Jeff!love, as I have just discovered the awesomeness that is Jeff.
I feel as though I should be schooled. Obv I have visited his site. But I need other info and sounds and stories and all of the good stuff that comes with fangirling. Because fangirling is one thing I do quite well.
So..anyone want to share an amusing anectdote? Boots? Pictures? And explanation for the name of the community? I'm open to anything that anyone wants to share...

We have giggage!!!!
"HEY! new gig date: SUnday, MArch 20th. 8pm. this is a special gig for a couple reasons; 1)new tunes coming out of my new guitar...2)the awesome DAvid Reiser is also playing. his set is 7pm. come by for a night of expressive songs. ps thanx for stopping by"

I'm assuming that it's at CBGB's gallery, even though silly boy forgot to list that...but I'm 99.9% sure that that's where it'll be. Sqwee!

Apparently there was a great turn out for Jeff's last gig, can't wait for the next one...he promises sometime late March...we shall see!

"just played a fun gig this weekend. a nice crew came out too, thanx. i aim to play my next gig near the end of march^date to come soon."

Good Vibrations, while striking out w/ the critics seems to be doing favorably well w/ audiances...so if you haven't seen it already...WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?!? Go now!

If you have seen it before...well go again and keep on supporting the bounciest boy on Broadway!
